Skincare Tips during COVID 19

With the majority of our daily routines interrupted from #coronavirus and #socialdistancing, how has your skincare routine fared?

People across the internet are sharing how their skincare routines have either brought them some sense of normalcy and comfort or how they’re using their self-quarantine to perform some long overdue self-care. Others are saying that even though they’re spending time away from sun exposure and pollutants, their skin still isn’t glowing.

If your skin is feeling a little lack luster, here are a few things to make sure you’re keeping up with through your extended time at home:

Wash your face: Morning and evening, ensuring to use luke warm water.

Exfoliate weekly: Remove any buildup of dead skin, bacteria, etc.

Moisturize thoroughly: Utilize any serums, hydrating toners, or facial oils you might have

Stay Hydrated: Drink lots of water to rid your body and skin of toxins.

Stay Active: Exercise helps deliver blood flow and oxygen to the skin.

Rest: Sleep allows the body to repair itself, allowing it to produce things like collagen.

Remember: your skin can react to stress and change, so if you’re experiencing problem areas don’t panic. Be gentle and patient with your skin, it’s dealing with everything you are!
